Just a sampling of our famous English Meals, always cooked to order!!!

Water up your Pie Hole (Starters)

Crispy Battered Onion Petals
Lightly seasoned and fried onion petals
served with spicy ranch dip.

Angels on Horseback 
Grilled jumbo shrimp wrapped in apple wood
smoked bacon with our house made remoulade
and spring greens with lemon vinaigrette.

English Chips with Guinness Cheese and Bacon Dip
Cottage cut potato coins, fried golden and served with
our rich Guinness cheese dip.

Cockney Calamari
Tender calamari seasoned and fried until golden and
crispy and served with our house made remoulade.

Cornish Crab Cakes
Seasoned lump crab cakes fried golden and served with
fresh field greens and house made remoulade.

Hackney Hot Wings
A pound of Jumbo Wings. Served with bleu cheese
& fresh celery sticks. Regular, Spicy or BBQ style.

Scotch Eggs
A hard boiled egg wrapped in a banger sausage and
cheddar cheese breading, deep fried, served with
Branston Pickle and spicy mustard. 

The Bishops Balls 
Two hard boiled, pickled Eggs

Two Bangers in a Blanket
Plump English Pork Banger Sausages wrapped in puff
pastry, served with spicy mustard for dipping.
Add Guinness cheese for .50p

Road Apples
Artichoke hearts, marinated & wrapped in cheese puff. (4)

Potted Pub Cheese & Assorted Crackers
with a side of smoked Oysters.

King William’s Turkey BLT
Smoked turkey served with apple wood smoked bacon

with lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise on toasted sourdough.

 

Hyacinth’s Tarragon Chicken Salad 
Poached chicken breast mixed with a creamy tarragon

dressing on toasted whole wheat.


Isle of Wight Cod Sandwich
Cod fish lightly battered in our own special recipe,

then fried till golden and served on a toasted Krumpets

with our house made remoulade.


Devonshire Corned Beef Sandwich 
Our own “in house” cooked corned beef thinly sliced

and served with tender braised cabbage and spicy mustard

on marble rye & pumpernickle.


Vicar’s Tongue

Sliced Tongue, Smoked Ham and Cheese served hot with

your choice of cheese on whole wheat.

 

Bangers in a Blanket Plate
Plump English Pork Banger Sausages wrapped in puff pastry

and served with spicy mustard for dipping.

Add Guinness cheese for .50p extra.

 

Ploughman’s Lunch
A traditional platter of a Banger in a Blanket, a wedge of

aged Stilton, tomato slices, Branston pickle, cornichon,

Pickled onion, spicy mustard and flat bread.
